Trading Places - Chambong Market, Thailand

I come across some amazing, and very surreal markets on my travels around the world, and am always fascinated by their offerings. No matter where I go I always factor in time to hustle through and shoot these trading places, but rarely get to show more than the odd image.

This is a real shame, so I've decided to add regular selections of words, images and moving clips from these markets, and hope you enjoy the scenes.

Food is usually central to things, and the more weird the better (as a photographer). Here's the takeaway from the weekly Champing market in Northern Thailand, which takes place on a remote Mekong border crossing to Laos, and is mostly frequented by Laotian and local hill tribe peoplle.
