Lights, cameras, action?

Light is a magical thing, at least if you decide how to make the best of it, which is not always possible. Here are 2 recent images taken on very different cameras and in extremely different lighting but at the same location, both of which required thought, preparation and planning - but, hopefully the show how you can work with most scenarios, as long as you figure it out.
